"I got together with one of my favorite brands to create a true classic, the “Matte Black” Clarks Original Desert Boot. I always wanted a pair of black Clarks Desert boots but they only came in a rough suede upper and a blacked out sole, a dope option but not as premium as what i would ultimately prefer. About a half a year ago we got in these Desert Boots in a beige oily nubuck called the “oakwood” and I fell in love with the leather used for the upper. I knew then that i needed to see the same textured nubuck in a black version but keeping the sole traditional and classic with the original crepe color-way. The outcome? A true classic with a high grade twist. Available Here at the David Z. flagship store (556 Broadway 212.431.5450)."
